Jaypee Group of Companies has consistently displayed total awareness of its all encompassing social responsibility, with an emphasis on education, through JAIPRAKASH SEWA SANSTHAN (JSS), a "not for profit" Trust registered under the Income Tax Act, 1961. The Trust was set up to discharge its responsibility towards Nation and specially the weaker section and disadvantage group of society. The JSS functions with a holistic approach for overall socio-economic development of the children. Formed in 1993, the Trust aims to ameliorate the pain and distress of the society at large. Jaypee Group firmly believes that education is the foremost milestone of economic development and the strength of 1.25 billion Indians can be channelized by education alone to build India into a developed Nation.

Jaypee Group currently provides education through 30 Public Schools, 6 ITIs, 2 Polytechnics, 2 B.Ed. Colleges, 1 PG College and 4 Universities catering to more than 30000 students and has an objective to equip more than 100000 students with the power of education by 2014.

JSS has translated its social responsibility into reality by establishing schools, colleges, universities and industrial training institutes that cater to the needs of ensuring value based quality education with modern amenities especially in the rural areas.

In sync with our ethos of growth with a humane face, our Comprehensive Rural Development Programme (CRDP) covers a wide range of projects such as free medical camps, health check-ups for village school children, literacy campaigns, safe drinking water supply, creating water reservoirs in villages and vocational training for women. Further, green initiatives include afforestation drives, conservation of natural resources, emphasis on the control of air quality noise pollution and so on.

Shri Jaiprakash Gaur Ji, Founder Chairman of the Group envisions education as a powerful instrument for the enlightenment and empowerment of the masses.
