Laboratories and Experiential Learning
At JVM Vishnupuram, we believe that true learning takes place when students actively explore, experiment, and experience concepts beyond textbooks. To encourage scientific temperament, creativity, and analytical thinking, the school has established well-equipped and modern laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. These laboratories provide students with opportunities to perform experiments, make observations, and develop practical skills that strengthen their conceptual understanding.
Our teaching methodology focuses on the principle of “Learning by Doing,” where students participate in hands-on activities, demonstrations, model-based learning, and laboratory experiments. Classroom teaching is enriched with the use of educational charts, scientific models, digital resources, and interactive learning techniques that make lessons engaging, effective, and easy to understand.
The school also uses NCERT Science Kits at the Primary, Middle, Secondary and Senior Secondary levels to promote activity-based learning and encourage curiosity among young learners. Through these practical experiences, students develop scientific inquiry, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and confidence in applying knowledge to real-life situations.

Some of the major attractions include models of the Human Digestive System, Nuclear Power Reactor, Hydroelectric Power Plant, Sources of Green Energy, Science behind various types of Bridges, Transformers, Periodic Table, and several other science and technology-based projects.
These resources not only help students understand complex scientific principles in a simple and visual manner but also motivate them to think critically, innovate, and develop a lifelong interest in science and technology. Computer Lab & Digital Learning
In today’s rapidly evolving digital world, Computer Education has become an essential part of modern learning. At JVM Vishnupuram, Computer Science education begins from Class I onwards, helping students develop Technological Awareness, Digital Literacy, and Logical Thinking skills from an early age. The school aims to prepare students to confidently face the challenges of the technology-driven future.
The school has a well-equipped and modern Computer Laboratory with internet facilities and advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software. The lab is designed to cater to the academic requirements of students, teachers, and the evolving curriculum. Students are provided with hands-on learning opportunities in a safe and interactive environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and practical understanding of technology.
In the Secondary Section, students are offered “Information Technology” as a skill subject and in the Senior Secondary Section, students are offered “Web Application” as a skill subject enabling them to gain deeper knowledge of computer applications, web designing, information systems, and emerging technologies. The Computer Science and Information Technology curriculum has been thoughtfully planned to provide students of Classes I to XII with exposure to a wide range of software tools, digital platforms, and technological concepts.
At the Primary Level, students are trained in the use of basic computer applications such as Windows, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and other essential digital tools. These foundational skills help students become comfortable with technology and improve their productivity and presentation abilities.
Along with basic computer education, students are also introduced to elementary computer programming through various programming languages and coding activities. This early exposure helps enhance logical reasoning, analytical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills among learners. Through regular practical sessions and activity-based learning, students gain confidence in using technology effectively and responsibly.

Audio - Visual Room
JVM Vishnupuram believes that learning becomes more effective, meaningful, and enjoyable when students are taught through interactive and visual methods. To enhance the teaching-learning process, the school has a well-equipped Audio-Visual Room designed to provide digital, activity-based, and engaging educational experiences for students.
The Audio-Visual Room is used to conduct multimedia-supported classes where curriculum-related videos, educational documentaries, animations, PowerPoint presentations, and motivational as well as moral stories are shown to students. These visual learning tools help simplify difficult concepts, improve understanding, and make classroom learning more interesting and memorable.
The AV Room also plays an important role in enhancing Language and Literature teaching at the Secondary level. Through audio clips, presentations, movie adaptations, speeches, storytelling sessions, and interactive activities, students develop better listening, speaking, comprehension, and communication skills. This modern learning approach encourages active participation, creativity, critical thinking, and confidence among learners.
